Meet the All-New 2021 Nissan Rogue

2021 Nissan Rogue

2021 Nissan Rogue

The 2021 Nissan Rogue has recently been unveiled! It has been expertly redesigned and reengineered to make family life easier. The Rogue is Nissan's best selling model in the industry's largest segment. Here at Fort Collins Nissan, we are so excited about the new design and can't wait to bring it to you! The new 2021 Rogue is one of five new or redesigned vehicles entering production over the next year. This first look at it proves that Nissan has some very exciting things in the pipeline! The Rogue was designed with families in mind. "The all-new Rogue was purposefully designed to meet all of the needs of today's young families," said Mike Colleran, senior vice president, Nissan U.S. Marketing and Sales. "Rogue is playing to win in the midsize crossover game with the ideal mix of expressive design, advanced technology, safety, comfort and versatility." The Rogue will deliver functionality, flexibility, technology and safety, all aimed at making life easier.

The Rogue "Family Hub"

2021 Nissan Rogue Inside, the 2021 Nissan Rogue is a "family hub," providing comfort and utility to both the front and rear passengers. All four doors now work with the Nissan Intelligent Key. When the key is in proximity to the vehicle, the driver or passengers can now lock or unlock any door using the press button on the handle. The rear doors are now wider and open to almost 90 degrees, making car seat install or removal much easier. This also provides less cumbersome entry and exit for all passengers, whether the be two legged or four! Car seat installation is a breeze, with the added flexibility of install in all 3 rear seating positions. Anyone who has ever had a car seat and two additional adult or older children passengers understands how great it will be to have a center positioned car seat. NASA inspired zero gravity seats and available heated back seats offer added comfort for rear passengers. Pull up shades block intense sun for rear passengers. They'll also be able to control their climate separately from the driver and front passenger with Tri-Zone Climate Control! The center console opens "butterfly" style, allowing both front and rear passengers to easily access what's inside. Remote start with Intelligent Climate Control is available, allowing drivers to set the perfect temperature before getting inside. This is especially beneficial when traveling with small children or pets! Large cargo space with new organization compartments make hauling whatever you need a breeze! Whether you're getting ready for your next family camping trip, or simply running to the grocery store, the new Rogue is ready to haul it all

Safety First

2021 Rogue Safety This new Rogue is the latest Nissan model to offer Safety Shield 360, providing the most standard safety technologies in its class. Safety Shield 360 includes Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist and Rear Automatic Braking. The all-new Rogue also offers 10 standard supplemental air bags. Extended crumple zones help protect the precious cargo inside. Additionally, the 2021 Nissan Rogue now comes standard with Intelligent Driver Alertness technologies. Models equipped with ProPILOT Assist, a hands-on driver assist technology, feature Intelligent Cruise Control. Other available safety features include Blind Spot Intervention and Traffic Sign Recognition, which will reset cruise control speed based on the signs posted. ProPILOT Assist makes long drives on the open highway less tiresome. It also reduces the hassle of stop and go traffic. Steering assistance is combined Intelligent Cruise Control to automatically accelerate and brake in order to keep a steady pace behind the car ahead of you. ProPILOT Assist is enhanced with next generation radar and camera technologies. ProPILOT Assist with Navi-link introduces several new features. By linking to the vehicle's navigation, map data can help proactively reduce speed for upcoming curves, junctions or exits.

Connected Technologies

2021 Rogue Tech The 2021 Nissan Rogue now offers available wireless Apple CarPlay and allows the driver to initiate the system without removing their phone from their pocket or purse, allowing for a seamless transfer of music from phone to vehicle. Android Auto is also available. You'll still get the USB charging ports, but the Rogue now also offers a wireless smartphone charger under the center console. Another new addition is the 10.8 inch heads up display. This new display allows the driver to access a range of information without taking their eyes off the road. The instrument panel features an available advanced digital meter display. It is fully customizable for personalized appearance and information display. The third digital screen is a 9 inch floating touchscreen for navigation, audio display, climate control, RearView Monitor and Intelligent Around View Monitor. Voice commands control both Google Maps and Waze. The driver can seamlessly switch between apps to access their preferred view of route and driving conditions.

Commanding Design

2021 Rogue Design Every design aspect of the Rogue reflects the spirit if the vehicle - fun, versatile and adventurous. It features the newest signature Nissan design elements, such as the floating roof and a new V-motion grille. The unique multi-level LED headlights with expanded illumination are standard on all trim levels. LED fog lights are standing on the SL and Platinum trim levels. The body measures 1.5 inches shorter and 0.2 inches lower than the previous model year. This change enhances the aggressive look, while increasing maneuverability. A wide range of color combinations will be available, including five two-tone combinations, a Rogue first. The design inside is equally impressive. All of the Family Hub features mentioned above make the interior as practical as it is beautiful. The quilted semi-aniline leather seats standard on the Platinum offer a look of luxury. The newly designed electronic shifter reduces the need for mechanical equipment beneath the console, allowing for additional storage space and a unique floating design.

Premium Driving Experience

Rogue Driving While we look forward to all of the exiting features above, an important part of considering any new vehicle will always be driving experience. On top of the improved MPG and overall performance, the 2021 Nissan Rogue features a new Vehicle Motion Control system. "This is technology that does what a human can't," said Chris Reed, senior vice president, Research and Development, Nissan Technical Center North America. "The all-new Vehicle Motion Control predicts what the driver is trying to do to do by monitoring steering, acceleration and braking. It can then step in and help to smooth things out." Vehicle Motion Control works with the Intelligent AWD system and Drive Mode Selector to provide individual wheel control. It can even apply a single brake when necessary to smooth out sharp corners. The Rogue with AWD features 5 different drive modes – Off-road, Snow, Standard, Eco and Sport. The Vehicle Motion Control system is particularly useful when driving on snowy slopes, deep snow, and off-road conditions. This makes the Rogue better than ever before for adventurous Colorado drivers! Every 2021 Rogue features a standard 2.5-liter DOHC inline 4-cylinder engine with Nissan's Direct Injection Gasoline system. Horsepower comes in at 181 with 181 lb-ft of torque.
