Sales Highlights for September 2014 Released by Nissan

With a total of 95,118 units sold for Nissan in September 2014 the brand has once again set a new monthly sales record. This now marks the 18th time in the last 19 months that the brand has set a new sales record. Additionally, this sales total is an increase over September 2013 of 22.2 percent.

Additional Nissan Highlights for September 2014 Include:

  • Sales of the Nissan LEAF increased by 47.5% with 2,881 units sold.
  • Sales of the Altima increased by 2.1% with 21,675 units sold.
  • Sales of the Sentra increased by 61% with 12,557 units sold.
  • Sales of the Frontier pickup increased by 47% with 6,853 units sold.
  • Sales of the Versa subcompact increased by 37.6% with 12,072 units sold.
  • Sales of the Rogue increased by 51.8%with 17,229 units sold.
  • Sales of the Murano crossover increased by 50.4 percent.

Nissan Division Announces Record-Setting March Sales

March sales for the Nissan Division have been announced and the brand has now achieved their best-ever results for the month with a 13 percent increase over March from last year. The total sales for the month came to an impressive 149,784 units with many individual models achieving new monthly records or notable increases over 2015. New March records were set by the Sentra and the Versa with sales increasing 23 percent and 12 percent respectively. Total March sales for the Sentra were 26,201 units, and 16,255 units for the Versa. The Rogue achieved its best sales month ever with a 1 percent increase to reach 27,713 units sold in March. Nissan Sets February Sales Record

Nissan has announced their best February sales in the U.S. ever with an increase of 11 percent from February 2015. Nissan Group reported a total of 130,911 units sold. The Nissan Division finished with 120,540 vehicles sold which was a 13 percent increase and a February record. The driving forces of Nissan’s success last month were the 34 percent increase of Sentra sales with 20,599 vehicles sold. Overall, the combined sales of crossovers, trucks, and SUVs climbed 14 percent to set their own February record. The total car sales also set a February record with 69,630 vehicles sold, climbing a respective 12 percent. Nissan Releases January 2016 Sales Report

Nissan proudly announced a January record and two percent increase over January 2015 with a total of 105,734 units sold. Overall sales of Nissan trucks, SUVs, and crossovers are up 18 percent. The Nissan Rogue led the crossover pack with 19,762 units, an increase of 26 percent. The Pathfinder continued to soar with 6,451 units, which was a 5 percent increase from last year. Finally, the Sentra rose 12 percent with 16,144 units. These numbers are a good illustration of the successful year the Nissan Group will have in 2016.
