The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has presented a “Top Safety Pick Plus” rating to the 2015 Nissan Murano for its impressive ratings in all five of the crash tests from IIHS and its optional Forward Emergency Braking.  In the five crash test, the Murano earned a “Good” rating and the front crash prevention earned the vehicle a “Superior” rating.

“The designation of the IIHS ‘Top Safety Pick Plus’ for the all-new 2015 Murano is exactly what Nissan expected for a vehicle that has always set the trends in its segment,” said Fred Diaz, senior vice president, Sales & Marketing, Parts & Service, U.S.A, Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA). “This Murano has once again raised the bar for Midsize Crossovers in terms of modern styling, levels of interior refinement, luxury and technology in its class. At Nissan, we are happy to add the IIHS Top Safety Pick Plus rating to the list.”

The 2015 Murano comes equipped with standard safety features that include Nissan Advanced Air Bag System (AABS), 3-point rear seatbelts, LATCH System and 3-point front seatbelts with pre-tensioners and load limiters and adjustable upper anchors.
